Celebrating our sixty-fifth year
of barbershop harmony in Albuquerque
Chartered September 1952

Announcing our Spring Show!
In 1957, the Lads of Enchantment, a New MexiChords
quartet, won the International Quartet Championship.
Now, 60 years later,

There will be a preview show at the Spencer Theater in Ruidoso on Saturday May 13 at 2 p.m.

And check back here before the spring show — other events will be scheduled between now and then.

The New MexiChords barbershop chorus is also proud and privileged to be scheduled to sing our national anthem at Naturalization Ceremonies in Albuquerque in the coming year — singing the anthem to our newest citizens for their first time as citizens of the United States!

The New MexiChords are the Albuquerque chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (legal name: Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, a.k.a. SPEBSQSA), an international organization that supports and sponsors barbershop singing. To find out more about barbershop singing, please visit their website.
