For the rest of 2015, practices will be on Monday evenings, not Tuesday. A different day, but at the same time and place. That's 7 to 10 p.m. at St. John's Methodist Church.

Celebrating our sixty-fourth year
of barbershop harmony in Albuquerque
Chartered September 1952

Opening Day
Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
October 3, 2015

The day's festivities will begin as we sing the National Anthem
(see the Balloon Fiesta Entertainment Schedule for October 3rd.)

Then at 9:00 a.m., after the balloons have launched in the Mass Ascension, we will perform on the Main Stage.

SAVE THE DATES: Plan ahead to see our Christmas Show — performances on Saturday & Sunday, December 12 & 13!
And check back here before that — other events may be scheduled in the Christmas season.

The New MexiChords are also proud and privileged to be scheduled to sing our national anthem at Naturalization Ceremonies in Albuquerque in the coming year — singing the anthem to our newest citizens for their first time as citizens of the United States!

The New MexiChords are the Albuquerque chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (legal name: Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, a.k.a. SPEBSQSA), an international organization that supports and sponsors barbershop singing. To find out more about barbershop singing, please visit their website.
